Running this sample

You have downloaded a sample from Online HTML/JavaScript Samples Center, and this package contains all files required to launch and use it.

The easiest way to test the sample is to upload it to some folder on your web server and open index.html file, you need Flash Player version 9 or greater and JavaScript enabled.

If you want to do that in local mode, you should note local restrictions mentioned below.

Local restrictions

Flash player security

If you want to view the sample on a local machine, you need to run register.bat (register.sh on MacOS X/Linux) first. These scripts are needed to register AnyChart Stock swf file in Flash Player Trusted security zone (Flash Player can't open local files by default).

If you want to view this sample on a web server - remove register.bat and register.sh from root.

Browsers issues:

Google Chrome restricts access to local files from html page, so if the sample contains use of AJAX can't be run in local mode, you can read about this in: Chromium Blog. For some samples you can set --allow-file-access-from-files flag in Google Chrome launch config and it would allow to test them in local mode.
