Administrativelogs are crucial to the operation of any system. SpamJadoo is no exception. We have provided detailed logging capabilities and you can access these Domain specific logs as a Domain Admin.
SpamJadoo keeps extensive logs at both the domain and server levels. This feature allows domain admins to see the various logs and use the contents to help troubleshoot any problems that might arise. You can see all the log entries or you can sepecify a particular users log entries only. You can also see all the entries for a particular domain as well. Play around with various fields in this section and you will discovery how powerful a tool this can be.
Notice that you can search the logs using the From Address or the To Address. You can also specify a date range to search on as well. If you don't know the particular date, click on the little calendar icon and it pulls you a handy calendar for you to find your dates. Also the last field that you can use to search the log is the Email ID field. This allows you to specify a particular keymail address or alias.
The screen below show the results of a search and the information that is returned. The search returns an unique email id, the date the email was received, the senders IP address, the From address, the To Address, the sender's status, and any error that occurred.
Two items from the above screen need more explanation. First the unique email id is SpamJadoo's way of keeping track of all the emails. This is an internal tracking field only. It never gets placed in any incoming or outgoing mail headers. Second, the sender's status is how that email address is listed in the database. It can be Friend, Unknown, Spammer, NO Challenge. All of these status indicators quickly help us associate that sender's known status within SpamJadoo and how that particular user has them defined in their database.
