Windows* 2000 Push Install Instructions

A "Push," or unattended installation of Windows 2000 provides a means for network administrators to easily install Windows 2000 on similarly equipped systems. The network administrator can create a bootable diskette that automatically logs into a central server and installs the operating system from an image of the Windows 2000 installation directory stored on that server. This document provides instructions for a basic unattended installation of Windows 2000 that includes the installation of drivers for the Intel(R) PRO/100 and Intel(R) PRO/1000 adapters.

For more information and instructions, see the pushw2k.txt file in the APPS\SETUP\PUSH\WIN2K directory on the Intel CD.

As part of the unattended installation, you can create teams. If you wish to create one or more teams as part of the unattended installation, you must also follow the teaming instructions provided in the pushw2k.txt file.
