The Outdated Browser notification is a basic bar at the top of the page, holding a small text message and a button linking to the outdatedbrowser.com website, where users can go and upgrade to the most recent browser versions.
This toolbar is completely styleable via CSS, and the webmasters at outdatedbrowser.com will make sure your users always get the most recent download links to their favorite browser, regardless of OS type.
The library was specifically created for developers that create modern websites that heavily use HTML 5 and CSS 3, and are practically non-accessible in older browsers.
This way they can take of all those "crazy" users still using ancient browsers, and also contribute to their "Web education" by letting them know it is important to always use the latest browser version available, for both security and standards' sake.
A sample page where the notification is pre-configured ships with the basic Outdated Browse download package.
This library is also available as a WordPress plugin.
